API

  • We recognise the need to integrate our product with other products that may already be deployed in a business
  • It is used to support our action tracking application by inputting employee actions from other business tools. More information on this can be found under 'Challenges' and 'Action Tracking'.
  • It is used to obtain IT service feedback from users
  • It can be integrated with enterprise applications (i.e. ERP)
  • It can be exploited for many business requirements

Active Directory (AD)

  • Active Directory is used by all corporate businesses to register employee data.
  • empulse automatically synchronises with AD to retrieve employee details straight from the domain controller via server to server communications.

Single Sign On (SSO)

  • SSO ensures that users need to only enter their credentials once
  • The system does not store any password but utilises the results of authentication from the account provider side
  • SSO is more secure, reduces employee time entering passwords and reduces IT calls to the ‘help desk’ relating to passwords.
