API
- We recognise the need to integrate our product with other products that may already be deployed in a business
- It is used to support our action tracking application by inputting employee actions from other business tools. More information on this can be found under 'Challenges' and 'Action Tracking'.

Active Directory (AD)
- Active Directory is used by all corporate businesses to register employee data.
- empulse automatically synchronises with AD to retrieve employee details straight from the domain controller via server to server communications.
Single Sign On (SSO)
- SSO ensures that users need to only enter their credentials once
- The system does not store any password but utilises the results of authentication from the account provider side
- SSO is more secure, reduces employee time entering passwords and reduces IT calls to the ‘help desk’ relating to passwords.
